The power of YES
This company is built on customer service. We keep our promises.
Founded in 1968, we’re the longest standing rebar fabricator in Washington,
with the specialty fabrication capabilities to handle any project — and faster lead times than the competition.
Our independence from the big steel mills, combined with our regional relationships give us the flexibility to maneuver in the market and get our customers what they need, when they need it. On time, every time.
We are a federally certified Woman-Owned Business and Disadvantaged- Owned Business with deep roots in the Puget Sound. We’ve built our success on the integrity and skills of our talented employees, and made it our mission to share our success with our people, our communities, and the environment.
Whether you need rebar today, you’re planning a construction project, need rebar shorts or just a bid, we offer in-house estimating, detailing, fabrication, and shipping to ensure you receive speedy turnaround, superior quality work, and on-time, accurate delivery.
Give us a try — we always keep our promises.
Every job large or small is assigned a dedicated detailer who remains your point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
Your detailer has full insight into your project’s goals and status and works with our in-house project managers to ensure a seamless experience.
Fabrication capacity and skilled operators.
Because of our independence, we can source material from anywhere. Our in-house rolling stock ensures we have the flexibility to maneuver in the marketplace and the absolute confidence we can deliver the steel you need when you need it.
Accuracy and precision, delivered.
Our team uses sophisticated production scanning software with every truckload to ensure you’re getting exactly what you ordered, and our in-house fleet gets it onsite when you need it there.

As an independent fabricator, it's in our nature to think outside the box.
Our success is built on the skill-set of our employees and their relentless focus on one thing: to consistently deliver higher customer value."
– Connie Macolino, PRESIDENT
The employees at Puget Sound Steel are the real assets of this company.
They raise the bar through hard work and determination, with our customers gaining the benefit of that commitment. We wouldn't be the company we are today without those customers, many of whom have been with us for decades."

Long Live the Kings/ Survive the Sound
We are participating in Survive the Sound. This online game uses funny fish avatars to represent real steelhead (a fish similar to salmon) that were tracked during research efforts led by a local nonprofit, Long Live the Kings. The tracking data lets scientists understand why the fish are dying.
Survive the Sound is a free, interactive online game where students and the general public follow their favorite fish (or many!) as they migrate through Puget Sound. Real data is used to tell the story of imperiled salmon, steelhead and orca and the challenges they face.
During the 5 day journey, we all develop a deeper connection to the local environment and we are encouraged to take action to keep it healthy!
